Rosa has 20+ years’ experience as a practicing artist and prior to following her passion, she founded a Work & Travel Company which enabled her to travel the world promoting the intrinsic and extrinsic value of working and travelling abroad. Marketing these international opportunities, interviewing, selecting, then supporting and training young Australians to take that leap of faith, stands out as one of her most rewarding memories.
Now, celebrating, encouraging artists and creatives to tell their story and share their own unique process is the message behind 'Live where you fear to live'.
She completed a Bachelor of Art (Fine Art) (Honours) Sculpture and has experience exhibiting in group & solo shows, has been successful in receiving grants for various public and local projects including residencies, and has been invited to participate in significant art festivals and public projects.
She has been awarded several Public Art and site-specific Commissions. As a member of NAVA (National Association Visual Arts) and the Women's Art Register (WAR), she follows artists work, promotes artist's exhibitions or product launches. Keeping in touch with artists work in progress, their unique processes and journey whilst being committed to listening to story is crucial in her work.
Finding one's own creative voice, believing & understanding it, is the foundation of Rosa's work.
Rosa has created her own opportunities and has been known to be a 'people collector or people connector' often linking people to each other, innately knowing that the exchange will be beneficial.
This a unique component of her Consultancy, ensuring that artists are connected to like-minded and no longer feeling the disconnect. Creating opportunities is something she is passionate about.
She works with emerging and established artists, curators, and public art consultants to market their work/projects and present their offerings and insights locally & internationally.

Engage Authentically
Live where You Fear To Live’ is all about YOU.

If you have known that it is time to step up, know that this process is a partnership. Each session will offer clarity and direction however, there is an element of you being responsible in regards to achieving your goals.
If you dislike social media & the tech side of any art practice, or are wanting to attain skills around how to tell your story and stand out, this is for you BUT (yes there is a but) you will be challenged, there is a lot of reflection at the onset and clarity will arrive around engaging authentically and consistently in order to create a financially viable arts practice.
Rosa speaks Spanish and able to understand French and Italian if individuals need to revert to their mother tongue during the sessions.
Rosa has recently been appointed on the Mornington Peninsula Arts and Culture Panel (ACAP), an important opportunity to learn, link, and create important connections locally, and regionally, and internationally due to her connections abroad.
Assisting artists, include and not limited to, public artists Penelope Lee, Elizabeth Weissensteiner, Robert Owen, & Anna Taylor to support their own local and international outcomes have been career highlights. Her CV will outline residencies in remote Western Australia, China, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and most recently a one-year Artist in Residence on the Mornington Peninsula auspiced by Parks Victoria at Coolart Wetlands.
A scholarship early in her career gave her the faith to continue nurturing her arts practice and this turning point, as a single mother, completing Undergraduate and Post Graduate studies at university has put her in good stead to develop sessions that celebrate the challenges artists face, and celebrating all facets of being a creative. These sessions are like a jumpstart - a supported re-launch and reactivation of one’s arts practice.
Rosa has supported individual artists and marketed creatives such as Peninsula Chamber Musicians & Buckley Opera to authentically engage & attract their specific audiences. Currently her work is divided between a role of artist and creative mentor; clients are based in Australia, Mexico, United Emirates, and the USA.
Rosa is in the final stages of creating a public artwork for the new Flemington Community Hub which will completed in 2023, and developing a new body of work. Stay tuned.
In the coming weeks she will be introducing past mentees and offering insights into their revitalised art practices.
'I was in awe of the way Rosa generated specific activities and discussions to allow me to discover my uniquity' - Monique Morey -
'Rosa’s great skill is organisation and documentation. She offers thought around how to make your work stand out. She created a multilingual banner/poster at the last minute, and even managed to have our rooms upgraded.'
'What can I say about Rosa? I engaged Rosa to support me prior to touring an exhibition internationally. Initially the goal was to document the exhibition material, create a multilingual poster and face to face engagements in Australia.
In 2018, through private funding, Rosa was able to assist me in the first leg of a world tour.
It was the most wonder filled, hilarious and instructive trip together. I am so grateful for her support and being there, all the wonderful things we did together.
We travelled to Japan where I was embarking on to carry the message of the generational legacy of war.
And to carry the 1000 paper cranes made by our local primary school, to honour Sagato, the young Japanese girl who died from the effects of the atomic bomb's radiation. Sagato believed if she made 1000 cranes she would live. She died just short of that number and her friends went on to finish them for her.
Rosa and I took the paper cranes to both Hiroshima and Nagasaki, celebrating their peace days.
Rosa and I shared a very profound experience, for which I am grateful.'
